Polkadot Community Foundation warned the third-party Fearless Wallet browser extension on October 21 that it had been leaking users' private keys since February 2025. SlowMist identified the Fearless Wallet browser extension and found that versions 3.0.1 and 3.0.3–3.0.5 were affected. Polkadot advised users that if they had used the Fearless Wallet browser extension, they should create a new keypair with a different wallet and move their funds as soon as possible.
